Membership Benefit. Your association adds value to membership by providing members with online information
and training. When you become a primary source of convenient, state-of-the-art
training, the perceived value of association membership is enhanced. This improved
level of service can lead to improved member retention and increased membership.
Industry
Benefit. Quality training enhances the professionalism of the industry, fulfilling the mission of the association.
Live webcasts are an ideal medium for distributing timely information in an affordable and effective manner. Emergent
issues are addressed quickly; not once or twice per year at industry symposia and seminars.
Minimal Investment. For qualifying organizations, ProVision charges no upfront fees for webcasts. Organizations qualify by providing three components: The instructor, the
PowerPoint presentation, and the audience (minimum 12 paid registrants). ProVision withholds its fees from attendee
registrations, forwarding the balance to the association.
Minimal Effort. ProVision handles most of the technical and administrative details of your online
training programs. What are your association's tasks? You select
the training topics and recruit instructors. You work with ProVision to set up a schedule of webcasts.
Finally, you post registration links on your website (supplied by ProVision), and promote the programs through e-mail
newsletters or other member communications.
Revenue
Stream. If your association plans to charge members for online training,
you will probably price your webcasts at a level above ProVision's fees. Your association receives the difference;
and you can use this revenue to cover any promotional expenses and to compensate instructors. Any remainder is profit, making online training a self-sustaining
profit center.
Lasting Impact. Your webcasts will be recorded and made available online after the live event. Visitors to your site will register to access these archived recordings, increasing
sales and ensuring the ongoing impact of these training events.
